The Unstoppable Jiren
With only 4 minutes left in the Survival Tournament, Android 17, Goku, and Vegeta fight with all of their strength in an attempt to defeat Jiren. When the episode began Jiren gave us a sample of his true power, and proved that he is clearly on another level than our heroes.
Even a coordinated attack from Goku, Vegeta, and Android 17 seemed to be completely useless against the champion of Universe 11. Goku even used a Kamehameha Wave at close range and Jiren split the attack in 2 with just one punch.
Android 17 continues to prove why he was chosen to enter the Survival Tournament and represent Universe 7, 17 tells Jiren he has to want something more than just being the strongest, Jiren Tells 17 that "Even I have a wish I want granted" Belmod (Universe 11's God of Destruction) narrates Jiren's backstory in which his parents were killed by an evil creature and Jiren has trained tirelessly since then to become the strongest warrior.
Jiren once formed a team to fight with him against this evil creature but all of his teammates were killed, Jiren tried to form another team but everyone turned their back on him because they were too scared to fight. Jiren believes that trusting in others is worthless and that strength is the only thing that matters.
After our heroes 2nd failed attempt at a coordinated attack, Frieza tried to sneak up on Jiren only to be beaten and discarded in seconds. Goku and Vegeta are laying on the ground, unable to move while Jiren prepares a final attack to eliminate them from the arena, and just when there seems to be no hope in sight No. 17 covered Vegeta and Goku in his energy shield and self destructed himself in order to deflect Jiren's Attack.
Goku and Vegeta thank Android 17 for his sacrifice that kept them from being eliminated and allowed them to rest. The episode comes to an end with 3 minutes left in the Tournament, Jiren still isn't showing any sign of fatigue, and Goku and Vegeta are fighting on fumes. How will the Survival Tournament end?
