Marvel Studios has released some behind the scenes photos from the set of Black Panther. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has also confirmed that a "Black Panther" sequel will definitely happen.
Here's what Feige said during his interview of EW.
"Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that," Feige said of the Black Panther sequel. "One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one."
With the incredible success of "Black Panther" at the Box Office, it's a no brainer that Disney/Marvel Studios would make a sequel. Black Panther has already made $940M in just 21 days, it had the 5th largest opening weekend in history making $202M domestically, the second biggest opening for a comic book movie, the largest February opening weekend, and is the highest rated comic book movie on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Black Panther" just opened in China and is on track to make upwards of $100M opening weekend, China's contribution will skyrocket "Black Panther" into the billion dollar club.
