One of the interesting aspects of this evolution is that gamers can now know what the most anticipated video games releasing in 2022 will be! The cool thing is this includes retro games that have been given smashing updates to keep them fresh. Elden Ring
Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the PlayStation, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows platforms. The video game will be directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, who also created Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The story revolves around a cursed ring that brings ruin to its bearer. An unlikely hero braves his way through dangerous lands in search of the truth about his life before coming into contact with eldritch creatures from another dimension. Elden Ring was announced during E³ 2019. The game does not currently have an official release date, but it's expected to launch sometime in 2022.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human
Dying Light is an action survival game set in a vast open world. Gamers will get to play as Kyle Crane, who has to survive the massive zombie outbreak that took over Harran City.
Players can use parkour movements like jumping and climbing up buildings or other structures at their disposal. They also have access to weapons such as swords, bows, guns, etc., which they must use effectively during combat against zombies and hostile humans alike. There are multiple endings present in Dying Light's campaign mode depending upon what decisions the player makes throughout the storyline of his/her playthroughs.
This video game sequel takes place 15 years after the first installment, where players will explore old locations from previous games along with new ones! Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming role-playing video game for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch. It will be set in the world of Harry Potter from the "Harry Potter" book series by JK Rowling, which has also been previously featured in a Warner Bros. Studios film series starring Daniel Radcliffe as protagonist Harry Potter. The story will take place before Harry's time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, so players can experience his life at home with the Dursleys and discover how he first met his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
The new release created on Unreal Engine technology is expected to feature spells that are triggered using specific movements via touchscreen controls or Joy-Con motion controls. It will also be possible to cast spells in a more traditional manner by tapping the touch screen or pressing buttons on a controller.
God of War: Ragnarok
God of War: Ragnarok is an upcoming action-adventure video game that will be released in 2022. Set within the Norse Mythology, players take on the role as Kratos, who must fight against Hela's army and prevent Ragnarök (the end of days). The gameplay has been modified to include new weapons such as a Sword and Shield, which can now transform into different forms. It also features "Rune Magic," where runes are collected throughout the map for special abilities during battles with enemies. The official release date hasn't been announced, but more information about this sequel should come out soon.
