Spyro Remaster Delayed

Unfortunately, fans of the Purple dragon will have to wait a little longer than expected. The Spyro Remastered Trilogy will be delayed from September 21st to November 13th

Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years,” Toys for Bob co-studio head Paul Yan said in a blog post. “We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. “I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.

Game delays, especially short ones as this, are sometimes for the best as it gives developers time to polish the game. Sometime last week though, there was a bit of fan displeasure after it was announced that only Spyro the Dragon would be a physical releases while Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon would be released digitally. There was no indication that the delay was called for to address this issue.

Spyro Remasterd Trilogy will be released on PS4 and XBOX One.
