September 2019 Nintendo Direct Shows Off Upcoming Games

Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct today, showcasing a slate upcoming games announced for the Switch and of new gameplay for games already announced. The Switch will get ports of Overwatch, Doom 64, Tetris 99, and Return of the Obra Dinn and others in 2019. Nintendo showed off gameplay from Challenger Pack 3 character Banjoe & Kazooie and announced the next Challenger Pack character, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury as well as announcing that there will be more DLC characters coming for Smash: Ultimate after the scheduled 5 Challenger Packs. Nintendo also showed new gameplay for Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion, and, for the first time, new GAMEFREAK, Inc. game Little Town Hero. Nintendo will also add classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System to Nintendo Switch Online as well as sell a wireless SNES controller, for gamers that wish to play those classic games on the iconic controller.
