Ryan Reynolds and Michael Bay Are Teaming Up For Netflix's 'Six Underground'

Variety reports that Skydance and Netflix will co-finance Michael Bay's next film entitled 'Six Underground,' the film is being distributed on Netflix and will star Ryan Reynolds. Paramount was originally going to distribute the film but Netflix agreed Bay's production budget of $125M. This is Netflix's biggest production to date, passing Martin Scorsese's 'The Irishman' which was reported to have a budget of $106M.
Netflix has been making a name for themselves as arguably the best streaming service available right now, and they continue to add A-List talent to bring new and great content to their subscribers.
The film is being penned by 'Deadpool' and 'Deadpool 2' writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger will produce the film alongside Bay.
'Six Underground' is set for a worldwide release in 2019 on Netflix.
