Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre Movie Review
In this action-packed film, Jason Statham stars as Orson Fortune, a skilled super spy on a mission to prevent the sale of a dangerous new weapons technology. Standing in his way is the wealthy arms dealer Greg Simmonds, played by Hugh Grant. Reluctantly joining forces with a team of elite operatives, including Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, and Bugzy Malone, Fortune enlists the help of Hollywood's leading actor, Danny Francesco, portrayed by Josh Hartnett. Together, they embark on a thrilling undercover journey across the globe to safeguard humanity from impending peril.
“Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre” was a really fun spy-thriller that didn’t take itself too seriously and I always love it when Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham make films together. It was funny, had great pacing, and a great cast, and gave us a standout performance from Aubrey Plaza who was hands down the best part of the film for me. The film can be a bit predictable at times but I was having so much fun with the characters that I didn’t care.
