Nefarious Movie Review
Based on the novel “A Nefarious Plot”, “Nefarious” follows a notorious serial killer on the day he is scheduled to be executed, unveiling a bone-chilling revelation. During his final evaluation with the psychiatrist sent to prove he is either competent to be executed or clinically insane, he claims to be a malevolent demon, who has inhabited the body of the killer for years, forcing him to do his bidding. As their evaluation reaches its conclusion, the killer ominously forewarns the doctor of his sinister intentions to make the psychiatrist carry out three murders.
This character-driven psychological thriller has a phenomenal script (written by Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman) that will challenge your beliefs and leave viewers questioning the difference between evil and human nature. The film also features an Oscar-worthy performance from Sean Patrick Flannery who kept me hanging on every word of his dialog immersing you in the film’s gripping narrative that lingers long after the credits roll.
