Jessica Chastain Starring, Producing Action Movie 'Eve' For Voltage Pictures

Jessica Chastain will star in & produce “Eve” via her Freckle Films production company in connection with Voltage Pictures.

Director, Producer & Actor Matthew Newton ( Who We are Now, Queen of the Damned ) , who penned the script, and is also directing the film had this to say of Chastain... “I have always admired Jessica Chastain’s work. So when I wrote Eve, an intelligent, strong, and incredibly capable character, she was my immediate first choice to bring her to life. I am humbled and thrilled to be collaborating with Jessica and Voltage on the film.” 

The film will have a plethora of creative talent with Nicolas Chartier (Dallas Buyers Club, The Hurt Locker) & Dominic Rustam ( I Feel Pretty) will produce in partnership with Chastain and her partner Kelly Carmichael of Freckle Films. Jonathan Deckter (Wind River) will be executive producer with Babacar Diene (Drive Hard) as co-producer.

Chastain and Carmichael had this to say about Newton, “Matthew is wonderfully adept at crafting complex and relatable characters.  We’ve been fans of his work and are so thrilled to be partnering with him and Voltage on "Eve."
