Imperator Furiosa 'Mad Max' Prequel Moving Forward Without Charlize Theron

In an interview with the New York Times, Director George Miller revealed that the film will be an origin story and that he’s searching for an actress in her 20’s. Miller also revealed that during the early stages of making “Fury Road”, he and co-writer Nick Lathouris developed back stories for every character and I for one am very excited to learn about Furiosa’s backstory and how she became the war captain under Immortan Joe.

I’m a huge fan of the “Mad Max” movies and “Fury Road” blew me away with it’s great cinematagory, visuals and its ability to keep the tension and excitement up for the entire film.

Miller also mentioned that the Furiosa movie will start filming after he completes shooting on the film “Three Thousand Years of Longing” starring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.
