Dune: Part Two Movie Review
‘Dune: Part Two’ is a true sci-fi epic and one of the greatest movie sequels of all time.
Denis Villeneuve always talks about how he loved Frank Herbert’s story and you can feel that love and admiration in every frame of the film.
Villeneuve also did a really good of expanding the world, offering us a deeper look at House Harkonnen and their home world, Giedi Prime, and a greater glimpse into the inner workings of the Bene Gesserit throughout the Imperium.
Greig Fraser’s cinematography teleports you to Arrakis and engulfs you in its beauty and its culture.
Timothée Chalamet continues to prove how great of an actor he is. His portrayal of Paul is filled with complexities as he tries to balance being the new Duke of House Atreides, his love for Chani, and answering the call to lead the Fremen into war against the Emperor to liberate Arrakis from his rule and return the planet to the oasis that it once was.
‘Dune: Part Two’ is an absolute masterpiece and a must see in IMAX 70MM if it’s available in your area.
Bless The Maker And His Water.
