Battlefield V Delayed!

Early this morning, EA announced that they will be moving back the release of Battlefield V to November 20th.
In a press release by Oskar Gabrielson, General Manager of DICE showed appreciation to fans that tested and gave feedback from Closed Alphas from E3 and Gamescom. He also referenced the upcoming Open Beta on September 4th where they can get more feedback to fans waiting for that. He sited this as the reason of the delay to, "take the time to continue to make some final adjustments to core gameplay."
The move from mid-October will give Battlefield more breathing room now that it is away from a big release window, sandwiched in-between Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Pre-Order statistics from multiple outlets had Battlefield V lagging way behind of its competitors by as much as 85%, a considerable amount as its biggest rival, Black Ops 4's pre-order numbers have not been as high as anticipated.
Either way, a delayed release for a game is much more preferred over the released of a buggy game a la Battlefield 4.
