Avengers Infinity War Becomes The Fastest Film To Cross $1B Worldwide

Infinity War Continues To Shatter Records

Avengers Infinity War has yet again met and exceeded the expectations of the film community, by becoming the fastest film to hit the $1B dollar mark (in just 10 days) ! This comes on the heels of its record breaking domestic opening weekend, as it took the #1 spot with an astonishing $258M ! This record was previously held by another Disney title, Star Wars The Force Awakens, with a domestic opening weekend of $248M . 

The film captured the 2nd biggest 2nd weekend of all time making $114.7M. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" still holds the #1 spot at $149.2M. 

"Infinity War" was directed by The Russo Brothers and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chadwick Boseman, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Idris Elba, Dave Bautista, and several other actors from the Marvel Universe. 

"Avengers: Infinity War" is the culmination of the past 10 years of the MCU and is easily my favorite MCU film to date and has become my favorite comic book movie of all time. Ultron was kind of a disappointment for me compared to how he is in the comics but the version of Thanos that we got in Infinity War was so much better than the comics and he has become my favorite movie villain of all-time.
