Avatar: The Way Of Water Movie Review
‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is a technical and visual masterpiece that’s centered around the importance of family and doing whatever it takes to protect them and preserve your way of life.
One of the things that blew me away with the first “Avatar” film, was the exploration of Pandora, its wildlife, the ecosystem, and how the Na’Vi and every living thing on the planet are connected to each other through Eywa and “The Way of Water” expanded on these elements in every way.
We got to see more of Pandora’s beautiful landscapes, its sea life and introduced us to Metkayina, a clan of oceanic Na’Vi that live on the reefs of Pandora.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana were great on screen together as Jake and Neytiri who face new challenges as a married couple and as parents as they decide the best course of action to protect their family.
Stephen Lang was an incredible villain in the first film and I’m really happy that James Cameron decided to bring him into the story in the way that he did.
Overall, “The Way of Water” was worth the 13-year wait and I can’t wait to see it again and again in theaters and on 4K Blu-Ray.
