Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed
Rockstar games announced today that they will be delayed to October 26th, 2018. Earlier slated for a spring release, the publisher said in a blog post that they needed more time to polish certain aspects of the game before release. Those aspects were not detailed in the blog posts but conjecture from some sources point to the perceived implementation of an online end game
mode similar to what GTA V has because of the amount of money that Rockstar has made from adding the online feature. Other speculation would be world fixes and quality of life issues. In this market where publishers are releasing games more often in broken states and fixing those issues in Day One patches, it would gain Rockstar extra points for admitting issues and needing more time to fix them rather than releasing a broken product.
