Red Dead Online Going Live!

Bryce L. Jackson

After more than a month and the millions of players finally getting through the meat of the campaign, Rockstar Games is preparing to release Red Dead Redemption Online Multiplayer.

Rockstar is staggering a Beta release for the mode to make sure that this game will not have the issues that plagued GTAV for months when its multiplayer mode was released in 2013. The staggered rollout schedule goes as follows:

November 27th: Users that bought the Ultimate Edition

November 28th: Users that bought the game on Launch Day (Oct. 26th)

November 29th: Users that bought the game between Oct. 26th-29th

November 30th: Everyone

A staggered rollout will allow Rockstar to stress test their servers with the limited numbers while also having a smaller pool of players to begin with as a sample to monitor player behavior. No news on when the Beta period of Online will end and all features will become available. According to their site, Rockstar has made the Online mode just as deep and engaging as the single player mode.
