A reboot to the popular "Charlie's Angels" franchise has been in the works with Elizabeth Banks co-writing and directing the film, and now the film has finally found it's 3 main leads.

Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska have been chosen to portray the infamous Angels. Sony has been planning the reboot since 2015 and Variety reports that the film is now going full steam ahead.

The reboot is set to focus on the generation of Angels and will nod to the legacy of the franchise as it positions the Townsend Agency as a global force.

Sony has set the release date for September 27, 2019.
