Disney truly outdid themselves during the Disney Investor Day Event. Presenters covered everything from Star Wars to the MCU, to Pixar, to Hulu, to Disney+ and so much more.

Here are some of my favorite reveals from the event.

FROM A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY!

AHSOKA | SPIN-OFF SERIES

Ahsoka is a new Disney+ original series, starring Rosario Dawson and is set within the timeline of ‘The Mandalorian’.

OBI-WAN KENOBI | ANNOUNCEMENT

Hayden Christensen is set to return as Darth Vader, joining Ewan McGregor in ‘OBI-WAN KENOBI’. The series is set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and is coming to Disney Plus.

STAR WARS: ROGUE SQUADRON | ANNOUNCEMENT

Wonder Woman directer Patty Jenkins has signed on the direct ‘Star Wars’ Rogue Squadron’ coming to theaters Christmas 2023.

ANDOR | SIZZLE REEL | SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT

Andor is coming to Disney+ in 2022.

RANGERS OF THE NEW REPUBLIC | ANNOUCEMENT

‘Rangers of the New Republic’ is a new original series coming to Disney+ and will be set with the timeline of ‘The Mandalorian’.

THE BAD BATCH | SIZZLE TRAILER

Star Wars: The Bad Batch, is an all-new animated Original Series from Lucasfilm Animation, coming soon to Disney+.

WILLOW | ANNOUCEMENT

Willow, is a brand new Original Series starring Warwick Davis, with the pilot being directed by Jon M Chu.

The series will premiere on Disney+ in 2022.

KEVIN FEIGE AND THE MCU

SHE-HULK | ANNOUNCEMENT

During the event, Kevin Feige confirmed that Orphan Black actress Tatiana Maslany has officially signed on to play She Hulk / Jennifer Walters.

Tim Roth will reprise his role as Abomination and Mark Ruffalo is also set to appear in the series !! The series will be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia.

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

Here’s our exclusive first look at ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’. Since the series was announced, it became my most anticipated series coming to Disney+.

SECRET INVASION | ANNOUNCEMENT

I’ve been waiting for a Secret Invasion announcement since the Skrulls were introduced in ‘Captain Marvel’ and there was a small Secret invasion easter egg towards the end of ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’.

Samuel L . Jackson is set to reprise his role as Nick Fury and Ben Mendesohn will return as Talos (Captain Marvel) in the new Disney+ Original Series ‘Secret Invasion’.

LOKI | FIRST LOOK TRAILER

Loki, is my second most anticipated series coming to Disney+ and I can’t wait to see Tom Hiddleston back in the role of the God of Mischief.

Loki is set to debut on Disney+ in May 2021.

WANDAVISION | OFFICIAL TRAILER 2

WandaVision is going to play a huge part in the ‘Multiverse of Madness ‘ and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

WHAT IF…? | FIRST LOOK

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

Christian Bale has officially joined the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder as the villain Gorr the God Butcher. The film hits theaters May 6, 2022.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ will see the return of Peyton Reed behind the director’s chair and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.

BLACK PANTHER II | UPDATE

Kevin Feige announced that Marvel Studios will not recast Chadwick Boseman in ‘Black Panther II’.

Ryan Coogler will write and direct and the film is set to hit theaters on July 8, 2022.

CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 | ANNOUNCEMENT

‘Captain Marvel 2’ is set to hit theaters Nov. 11, 2022.

Nia DaCosta is directing the film with Brie Larson returning as Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani is joining the film as Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Paris as Monica Rambeau.

‘FANTASTIC FOUR’ LOGO REVEAL

ARMOR WARS | ANNOUNCEMENT

Don Cheadle is set to return as James Rhodes/War Machine in the new Disney+ original series ‘Armor Wars’.

I AM GROOT | ANNOUNCEMENT

Baby Groot will star in a series of shorts on Disney+ featuring several new characters.

DISNEY | PIXAR

LIGHTYEAR | ANNOUNCEMENT

Chris Evans has signed on to voice Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Lightyear.

‘Raya and The Last Dragon’ will hit theaters and premiere on Disney+ simultaneously in March 2021.
