Chris Evans took to his official twitter page to announce he’s officially wrapped filming on Avengers 4 and wrote a couple words about his journey as Captain America.

Here’s what Evans had to say":

[Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.]

In addition to Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth will also complete their contracts once they wrap filming on the movie and I for one hope that they all renew their contracts so that we can get more of these amazing characters, played by these amazing actors.

Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
